MBA Chair's Letter

Woodbury’s MBA program is designed to prepare leaders who are effective and ethical. It aspires to help future leaders in discovering their authentic voice that is guided by a strong moral compass. Our motto is ‘transform the world by transforming yourself.’ For magnanimous leaders, the whole world indeed is one single family (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam).

Our mission is to prepare future leaders of organizations who communicate effectively, act ethically, and think globally in a strategic manner.

Our goal is to help you achieve success that resonates with significance and imbued with meaning. Success is about getting, significance is about giving: We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give. Success is about doing, significance is about being. Success is external, significance is internal. We pursue success, significance ensues: Success is acquired while significance is discovered and embodied.

The world needs a totally different breed of leaders, leaders who are centered but not self-centered, leaders who are socially conscious, entrepreneurial, holistic, and creative, design thinkers. Woodbury’s MBA program is specially designed to help you discover, polish, and share your unique gifts and talents. It is all about learning, living, and leaving an enduring legacy.

Since leadership is direct expression of who we are, in discovering, living, and sharing our deepest values lies the fulfillment of our life and leadership. We must first know, then do, and finally be the change that we aspire to inspire in others. Being our authentic self, we can act with fulfillment and not just for fulfillment. When we truly know who we are and what we stand for, we can discern what is right to do in any given situation. And by remaining true to our values, we can stay aligned to our true north.

Come and see!
